Blackened progressive metal outfit Dawn Of Ouroboros have released the title track from their upcoming third studio album, “Bioluminescence“. The Californian natives will have that album out on March 07th through Prosthetic Records. Weighing in with their thoughts on this single, the group stated:
“The ocean has always been a major inspiration for us as a band, but this song is the first where we’ve directly composed something about it. Particularly, it’s about the chemical process found in many deep-sea animals called bioluminescence.
We wanted the title track to be an introduction to the more adventurous vibe of the overall album. To create something that pushed ourselves into a more progressive area of our creativity, while still maintaining the emotional intensity and melodic sensibilities the represents the qualities of our music that are so important to us as a band.”
A music video for the track was filmed with Karl Whinnery of Vintersea/Ligature Marks fame directing. March will see Dawn Of Ouroboros head out with Wolf King for the following headlining run:
