Self-described ‘barbiegrind/bimboviolence’ band BRAT have dropped their rendition of the Heart staple “Barracuda“. BRAT recruited Sammy Duet of Goatwhore/Acid Bath fame to assist with this new take on the 1977 classic rock hit. BRAT collectively said of their rendition:
“We wanted to pay tribute to Heart as the original bad bitches of rock, and we thought the opening riff of Barracuda would sound great played even heavier. We’ve played the song live many times and people have really seemed to connect with it.”
Next month will find BRAT making their way overseas to join up with Napalm Death, Crowbar and Full Of Hell on the below European/UK tour:
