Atomic Rule made their live debut over the weekend as part of the annual ‘BLissmas‘ event hosted by Better Lovers. Like the latter, Atomic Rule spawned from the ashes of beloved Buffalo, NY metalcore outfit Every Time I Die, with that band’s former guitarist Andy Williams involved.
Williams, whose main career pursuit has since shifted to wrestling as ‘The Butcher’ for AEW, was joined onstage by Travis Bennington of Eternal Sleep and drummer Chris Maggio of Trap Them, etc. fame for this first live outing.
While the outfit performed the gig largely as an instrumental trio (they did have at least one guest join them onstage,) it appears that wasn’t the initial plan, as there’s been unconfirmed rumors of the band initially starting out with a vocalist that has exited the roster in the weeks ahead of the show.
