Post-hardcore veterans Quicksand and punk rock/post-hardcore outfit Hot Water Music have been keeping close company this year. In addition to touring together, they also issued a split release that saw Hot Water Music delivering their rendition of Quicksand‘s 1993 staple “Fazer“. Quicksand in turn served up their take on Hot Water Music‘s 1999 “No Division” track, “Free Radio Gainesville“.
Amid the groups recently concluded European tour together, members of the two outfits once again took to sharing the stage to bring those renditions to life. Below you can find fan-filmed footage of such a pairing on “Fazer” taking place at the Palladium in Cologne, Germany back on November 23rd.
Live collaboration between the two bands at their shows together isn’t a new development though, as seen by the below pairing during a past U.S. stop on “Free Radio Gainesville“.
