Multi-platinum thrash metal legends Megadeth appear to have settled in to focus on the writing and recording process for their seventeenth studio album. The band’s vocalist/founder Dave Mustaine is said to have recently issued an update regarding that to the band’s cyber army fanclub.
Per said update, producer Chris Rakestraw will once again be back to helm the sessions alongside Mustaine. That duo previously oversaw 2016 ‘s “Dystopia“, which netted Megadeth” their first GRAMMY Award back in 2017. It was also mentioned that official writing sessions commenced this month with various members, including the band’s latest guitarist Teemu Mäntysaari, contributing ideas.
It would also appear that the sessions appear to be somewhat in their infancy with a timetable of roughly six months being laid out
