The ashes of late hard rock icon Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister” continue to travel the world long after his 2015 death. Known as the vocalist and bassist for Motörhead, the legendary hard partier saw to it that the ashes of his body were shared amongst his closest friends.

To that end, special ‘Lemmy‘-engraved bullets were crafted, each featuring a portion of his final cremated remains. Over the years, numerous individuals have come forth with having been gifted them. Among the known recipients are Rob Halford (Judas Priest), Riki Rachtman of ‘Headbanger’s Ball‘ fame, Michael Monroe (Hanoi Rocks), Doro Pesch and Whitfield Crane of Ugly Kid Joe

Another individual who received that final gift from Kilmister is Metallica‘s James Hetfield, who actually used some of the ashes in a tattoo he got to honor Lemmy.

Now it’s been announced that an elaborate urn featuring some of his ashes will soon be permanently installed at the London strip club, Stringfellows. Kilmister was said to be a frequent client of that establishment, with the band’s manager Todd Singerman stating that the business, “always held a special place in Lemmy‘s heart.” He added, “He loved the relaxed environment — and he certainly loved the view. I know he’s relieved he can get back to enjoying one of his favorite places.”

The Sun report that Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell will be on hand to see the urn installed at the establishment on December 18th. Lemmy‘s ashes are also memoralized at several other locations, perhaps most notably at his beloved Rainbow Bar & Grill in West Hollywood, CA and the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Hollywood, CA.
