Aussie alternative metalcore quartet Thornhill have newly dropped a song by the name of “nerv“. It’s their second all new track this year to be released, with the previous, “Obsession” having arrived all the way back in February.
The band said of this song:
“With ‘nerv’, we wanted to explore the themes of a dangerous relationship through conflicting and contrasting images of desire and danger. The lyrics reflect the tension between longing and the need for self-preservation, illustrating how intimacy can be both alluring and risky. This tension captures the complexity of love, showing how beauty and peril intertwine in an emotionally intense dance.”
