Grindcore vets Napalm Death and sludge metal mavens Melvins have announced a 2025 North American co-headlining run. That trek will fall under the banner of the ‘Savage Imperial Death March Part II Tour‘ and follows a six-week run the two bands partook together back in 2016.
Melvins vocalist/guitarist Buzz Osborne stated of this new trek:
“Napalm Death! Melvins! What a dream! Not only are we looking forward to being on the road with our friends in Napalm Death, but we’re excited to have both Dale and Coady both on drums once again.”
Opening the tour will be Dark Sky Burial, the post-industrial ambient side project of Napalm Death‘s own Shane Embury. Additional opening sets on select dates will come from Weedeater, Titan To Tachyons and The Hard-Ons With Jerry A.
A pre-sale will be going up this Wednesday, November 20th at 10:00am local time with the code ‘Stonerwitch’. The general onsale has been set for this Friday, November 22nd at 10:00am local time.
