The Warriors have issued a 2024 ‘redux’ version of their track “Foreign Pain“. The Californian hardcore band had the following to say of this re-recorded version of the 2004 single, which now sports a guest spot from Todd Jones of Nails, etc. fame:
“The 2024 redux of ‘Foreign Pain’ is streaming everywhere now! This song first appeared on our debut album, War Is Hell, and has been RE-RECORDED now in honor of the album’s 20-year anniversary. ‘Foreign Pain (2024)’ was recorded and mixed by our own Roger Camero and mastered by Erol Ulug.
This revitalization is elevated by the vocal efforts of Todd Jones– who we can’t thank enough. We felt ‘Foreign Pain’ never got its day in the sun due to the fact that it was buried at the end of the album, and now 20 years later, we’re giving it the love we feel it deserved. The lyrics of “Foreign Pain” highlight the transformative capacity of trauma– a subject that resonates today as much as it did two decades ago.
As we gear up for the vinyl reissue of War Is Hell, This single is a prelude to a NEW album set to be released in 2025. This forthcoming LP encompasses the essence of the journey this band has taken over the course of two decades.
