While the circumstances of the encounter haven’t been explained, footage of a busker playing drums on the sidewalk has recently gone viral online. The unidentified musician in question was filmed performing along to the 1999 Red Hot Chili Peppers song “Otherside“.
More interestingly, the audience of one he is performing for is none other than Chad Smith — drummer for the aforementioned multi-platinum funk rock legends. Whether or not this encounter was planned is unclear, but Smith can visibly seen vibin’ along to the playthrough and seemingly approved of the performance.
