Tool have added a pair of Mexican shows to the spring touring schedule, which will primarily find the multi-platinum alternative metal band out touring South American for the first time ever. Last week saw the enigmatic multi-platinum outfit announce next year’s debut of their ‘Tool Live In The Sand‘ festival. That destination event will be held on the beach of Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic from March 07th to 09th with Primus, Mastodon, Coheed And Cambria and more joining them.
Newly confirmed the tour are a March 12th show at Explanada del Estadio Mobil Super in Monterrey, Mexico and a March 18th performance at Calle 2 in Guadalajara. Tickets will be available onsale next Monday, November 04th at 12:00pm CST. However, members of the band’s Tool Army fan club can get first crack at tickets this Thursday, October 31st at 12:00pm CST. Support at these new dates will come from veteran hard rockers The Cult and Seven Hours After Violet. The latter are a burgeoning supergroup featuring members of System Of A Down, Left To Suffer, Winds Of Plague and more.
