Official 2024 'When We Were Young' Festival Merch Riddled With Band Name Typos

Thanks to some sloppy merch designs, there’s a bit of egg on the face of the organizers of this year’s ‘When We Were Young‘ festival. Several designs of official merch for the Live Nation Entertainment-promoted event were riddled with band name typos, as reported by multiple users on Reddit.

This year’s edition of the annual celebration of all things emo and pop-punk took place October 19th-20th at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds in Las Vegas, NV, with My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Taking Back Sunday and more among the top of the bill.

At least three of the featured designs were impacted by the egregious typos. Looking at some of the designs shared below, examples of those included:

Various concertgoers took to Reddit to express their shock over the matter. Perhaps more surprising, there were different band name typos found on different designs. In an ironic twist, according to several Redditors, the bootleg merch available outside the grounds did not suffer the same fate. Apparently, said bootleggers later capitalized on the situation, offering their merch as having “no typos.”
