Ryan Neff has announced his exit from As I Lay Dying. He had originally joined the group back in 2022 and remained with them on bass and clean backing vocals up until now. Neff, who is also a member of Miss May I, commented of this departure in the following statement issued yesterday, October 18th, via social media:
“As of today, I have made the decision to leave As I Lay Dying. This choice comes after much reflection, and I believe it is the right step for my personal and professional journey. I am grateful for the experiences and connections I’ve made during my time with the band. Thank you to all the fans for your support.”
This shift in personnel arrives ahead of the upcoming November 15th release of As I Lay Dying‘s new album “Through Storms Ahead” and the European tour they have booked around it. The San Diego, CA outfit have yet to publicly address this latest shift in their roster, which has underwent a substantial amount of changes since 2020.
