Diamond-certified pop star Halsey has long had ties to heavier music over the years, including collaborations with Nine Inch Nails and Bring Me The Horizon. As part of a promotional campaign for Halsey‘s forthcoming album “The Great Impersonator” (due out October 25th,) she recently took to recreating the look of Evanescence vocalist Amy Lee, as seen on the cover of that band’s diamond-certified 2003 debut album, “Fallen“.
Halsey has been adopting the iconic looks of a number of influential musicians for the leadup to the aforementioned album, with this tribute to Lee following similar lookalike photos/videos of Dolly Parton, David Bowie, Cher & more.
Halsey referred to Lee as “my OG dark rock queen” in the below series of posts, leading Lee to reply back, “High compliment coming from you, my dear!”
