Only Living Witness‘ “Prone Mortal Form” and “Innocents” will soon be receiving expanded vinyl pressings via Man Alive Records. Both of these new pressings from the defunct alternative metalcore band will be out November 01s. Pre-orders are now available through manalivecreative.format.com/store. The following details were provided for each pressing.

Prone Mortal Form

The Man Alive Records’ 30(ish) Anniversary Edition of ONLY LIVING WITNESSProne Mortal Form is housed in a wide-spine jacket that holds the album as well as a bonus 12” featuring demos/outtakes that have never been on vinyl before. The album comes with an 8-page booklet complete with rare photos, flyers, original art, posters, lyric sheets, and more from Jonah Jenkins’ (vocals) personal archives.

The booklet also contains insights from those influenced by this album, including Aaron Dalbec (Be Well/Bane/Converge), Chris Gonzalez (End It), Jesse Leach & Mike D. (Killswitch Engage), Brian Fair (Shadows Fall/Overcast), producer Tim O’Heir, Jem Aswad (Variety Magazine), Iann Robinson (MTV), and the band’s late drummer, Eric Stevenson.

The audio, including the bonus tracks, was mastered for vinyl by Jeff Lipton at Peerless Studios who, with Eric by his side, mastered the 2006 expanded CD editions. Additionally, the album’s packaging was modernized, and rebuilt by Tom Bejgrowicz—known for his work with Quicksand, Beastie Boys, Johnny Cash, Snapcase, Eyehategod, and more.

“Back then, you couldn’t make heads or tails of what [the album] was—it sounded like nothing else that had come out. The guitar tone and Jonah’s voice was such a perfect combination. I can’t even count the number of copies of the cassette I had and wore out.” — Aaron Dalbec (Be Well/Bane/Converge)

“This album runs unforgivably under the radar, especially for how well it was produced and performed. I’m so glad I didn’t sleep on Only Living Witness.” — Chris Gonzalez (End It)
