Dope will be issuing a 25th anniversary edition of their debut album “Felons And Revolutionaries” on vinyl on December 06th. In addition to the original album track listing, the industrial nü-metal outfit will include their b-side cover of Dead Or Alive‘s “You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)“, which showed up on later editions of the album.
The artwork has also been overhauled for the release, which will arrive on orange vinyl. Various associated merch items for the anniversary are also up for grabs via dopetheband.com.
Vocalist Edsel Dope commented:
“I can’t believe that it’s been 25 years since Dope hit the international scene. This ultra noisy, punk rock album is where it all started for us and I’m so excited to see it finally released in this nasty orange Vinyl format. I am eternally grateful to all the fans & friends that have come along for the ride.”
In other news, the group will be replacing Coal Chamber at next weekend’s ‘Aftershock‘ festival in Sacramento, CA in light of Dez Fafara‘s Dez Fafara‘s health issues.
