The 2025 edition of the ‘FYA Fest‘ will now be held at the Orlando Amphitheater in Orlando, FL after controversy erupted over its previous venue. The annual hardcore/metalcore event had been held annually at the Shanna and Bryan Glazer Jewish Community Center in Tampa, FL for several years running.
However, with the casualties from Israel’s war with Hamas continuing to climb amid the conflict in Gaza, that venue’s unwavering support for the aforementioned country didn’t sit well with some in the hardcore scene. Support for Israel’s ongoing war efforts in Gaza have been condemned by numerous bands in the scene this year.
Responding to the backlash, on August 13th the festival’s organizers announced they would be relocating the event, stating:
In light of recent information, we are in the process of finding a replacement venue. Because of this, tickets for the fest most likely will not be going up on Friday. We are waiting on confirmation from another venue before releasing tickets. We will be posting updates when we have them”
Today, September 30th, they revealed the new venue, with this next instalment of the festival set to take place January 04th and 05th. Also freshly being unveiled are the additions of Stout, Fatal Realm & Home Invasion to the bill. Daily lineups include:
