Delaware metalcore band Year Of The Knife made their official live return yesterday, September 21st as part of the annual ‘New England Metal And Hardcore Festival‘ in Worcester, MA. The group were dealt a devastating blow back in the summer of 2023, being left with life-changing injuries from a van crash.

Over $257,000 USD was raised for the band through GoFundMe in light of the accident. Vocalist Madison Watkins suffered the worst of the injuries in that accident, having sustained traumatic brain injuries and multiple broken bones which left her hospitalized for several months and facing down several surgeries and months of therapy.

Footage of yesterday’s set was captured by The Jon Dohh Show and can be seen below. While the weather wasn’t favorable, this live return remains no less triumphant. It will be followed by a pair of upcoming live performances, which include:

10/19 Atlanta, GA – Culture Shock (‘Edge Day‘)
12/14-15 Los Angeles, CA – Belasco (‘For The Children‘)
