Seven Hours After Violet, the supergroup consisting of members of System Of A Down, Left To Suffer, Winds Of Plague and more, have now officially unveiled their third single, “Alive“. That track briefly showed up erroneously on select digital service providers last week, and was first aired on SiriusXM‘s Liquid Metal this week. The group’s Shavo Odadjian commented of this song:
“‘Alive‘ dives deep into the duality of pain and vitality, where suffering becomes a twisted reminder of existence. It’s about the dark thrill of feeling alive through intense emotions, even when they blur the line between ecstasy and despair. A haunting space where agony and empowerment collide.”
A music video for it has also been released. The band’s self titled debut album is slated for an October 11th release through Odadjian‘s Sumerian Records imprint, “1336 Records.
In other news, the outfit have also announced their second live show, which will see them opening for BABYMETAL at Audio in Sao Paulo, BRA on October 21st. Their live debut will take place roughly a week prior as part of this year’s returning ‘Mayhem Fest‘, which will be held October 12th at the Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino, CA.
