Saltwound‘s debut album “The Temptation Of Pain” is on track for a November 01st release via SharpTone Records. The Northern Californian deathcore outfit have also just revealed the second single from it in the form of “Severance“. Distinguisher‘s Nick Chance guests on the latest cut, having also overseen the directorial duties for its video.
Saltwound vocalist Spencer Timmons commented:
“It’s my wish to separate myself from the world in a macro and micro sense. In my personal life and what I see going on, it’s nothing but pain, misery, and things I can’t stand. So, you want to be set free and separated from this darkness. I love music more than anything, but so much of this industry repulses me.”
As for the album, he added:
“With every release, we try to create something that sounds different from what we’ve done in the past. We never want to be a one-trick pony. It’s easy to find a niche and suck the well dry. We’re trying to evolve though. I think we achieved that with this album.”
