The worlds of British alternative metal favs Bring Me The Horizon and acclaimed video game designer Hideo Kojima have become inextricably intertwined over the years. Thanks to the inclusion of avid gamers in their lineup, Bring Me The Horizon have referenced several video game franchises in their songs over the years. Perhaps most blatant was the 2013 single “Shadow Moses“, which drew inspiration from Kojima‘s ‘Metal Gear Solid‘ franchise.

In 2019, Bring Me The Horizon would pen the track “Ludens” for Kojima‘s ‘Death Stranding‘ video game, with the song being featured within it. Perhaps as a sign of another pairing down the road, the band recently shared the below shots online, which find them spending time at the home base of Hideo‘s video game development studio, Kojima Productions.

The latter company is currently developing the sequel to ‘Death Stranding‘ with a 2025 release date expected. Presumably these shots were taken amid the band’s Japanese touring this past August.
