Falling In Reverse‘s controversial frontman Ronnie Radke and Silent Planet vocalist Garrett Russell have been clashing online on social media in recent days. The flashpoint for their beef came about following the below exchange Radke had this past Friday, September 06th with a user on X.

Said user replied to Radke with the following:

Radke would later reference the situation in a follow-up exchange on X, stating to another user: “The absolute audacity of this stupid fucking bitch to cry racism after calling me a pedophile. she’s about to find out what reality looks like real quick.”
Russell would go onto comment on the matter on X, offering:
disgusting to see a popular entertainer using his platform to spew hatred toward other races. racism has no place in music and it’s sad to see this type of vile bigotry getting promoted. fuck this https://t.co/g6Uyy4PhUz

Radke replied back directly to Russell:
“Damn you got more views and likes talking about ME than you do selling tickets and merch to your own shows. I gotta slap the shit outta you for calling me racist Garrett“
A separate exchange with another X user followed:
Several barbs were shared between the X accounts of the two musicians both directly and via subtweets, with Radke pointing out the discrepancy in views Russell‘s post about Radke got in comparison to a recent announcement for Silent Planet‘s European/UK tour.
Radke then uploaded this this video, in which he launches into a tirade against Russell, also bringing Russell‘s Christian beliefs and how his thoughts on homosexuality into the matter. In a separate post, Radke pointed out the lyrics of Bring Me The Horizon‘s 2024 collab with Underoath, “a bulleT w/ my namE On“, which contains the lyrics, “If Jesus Christ returns we’ll just kill the fucker twice.”
Radke stated:

Radke further vented:
“So tired of being told to turn a blind eye to get called a pedophile and rapist, even when they make a joke about it, it’s insanely infuriating that this community of musicians will perpetuate this false shit and joke about me being a fucking pedophile and rapist and the second I defend myself Im the bully, sane people will also have a heart attacked for using the wrong pronouns. Yet im the problem. this tweet won’t be seen because im shadow banned. Fuck everyone”
Russell meanwhile, referenced Radke‘s defamation suit against The Needledrop‘s Anthony Fantano, stating:

Radke meanwhile responded to the last post shared above with a picture of a sparsely filled venue, offering: “I’d be mad too if I was a fucking 1 of 4 band on a tour like this loser. Suck a dick pussy”
Radke continued on, later sharing this comparison of Silent Planet‘s ticket sales with the engagement his initial post about Radke has received on social media, stating:
“The left is @SilentGarrett average ticket sales per night I pulled, the right is the amount of likes and views Garrett gets talking about me. This is the point I was making. I never see successful musicians talking shit.”
