Filter vocalist Richard Patrick joined Stone Temple Pilots onstage last night, September 05th, for a rendition of his band’s 90s hit “Hey Man Nice Shot“. That performance took place at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA, with Patrick later remarking on social media:
“I met up with my best friends from Stone Temple Pilots!! we played “Hey man nice shot.” And tomorrow I’ll be returning to the same place with Filter and “the freaks on parade.” @stpband”
Stone Temple Pilots bassist/vocalist Robert DeLeo responded:
“Now that was fun! Been quite a while since we busted that one out together! I love you Rich. ❤️”
Both of Stone Temple Pilots‘ DeLeo brothers and Patrick were previously involved in the supergroup Army Of Anyone. Fan-filmed footage of yesterday’s cover has been released below. Filter are presently out alongside Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper and Ministry on the ‘Freaks On Parade Tour‘.
