Linkin Park Are Inviting Fans To "Be Part Of Something" In Early September (Updated)

Linkin Park‘s countdown/count up timer continues upward, and as it turns out, yesterday’s (August 29th) glitch at 00:09:05 on its way back up from zero was indeed significant. The diamond-certified group, who are widely thought to be announcing a reunion tour with an as-yet unidentified female singer in place of the late Chester Bennington, have shared a new message on social media. That post points to September 05th, and invites fans to “Be part of something.”

The band have long been rumored to be eyeing a reunion run next year. There’s also been rumors of a West Coast show taking place as early next month to welcome the group back. Outside of that, there’s even been hints that the group could also be on the bill for some of the big U.S. festivals next year.

Yesterday saw the conclusion of the group’s mysterious 100-hour countdown timer, however, much to to the horror of their most eager fans, upon reaching 0, that timer instead played a glitchy animation and began counting upward. Several glitches on select numbers have been sighted since, with the 00:09:05 begin the most prominent thus far. You can read more on that in yesterday’s report.

Members of the band’s Linkin Park Underground fan club have been receiving access codes for a unique event scheduled to take place in Los Angeles, CA on September 05th.
