As part of yesterday’s (August 11th) closing ceremony for the Paris Olympic Games, multi-platinum funk rockers Red Hot Chili Peppers took to the stage. The group performed their 3x multi-platinum 2002 single “Can’t Stop” live from Los Angeles, CA as part of that closing chapter to the games.
That remote locale signified the handoff for the next edition of the games, which will be held in Los Angeles in 2028. Other musical performers representing the American contingent yesterday were pop superstar Billie Eilish and the legendary gangsta rap duo of Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre.
