Bullet For My Valentine will be releasing a 20th anniversary edition of their gold-certified debut album “The Poison” on November 29th. That expanded offering, which will be made available as a vinyl boxset, as well as on CD and digital formats, will be issued by Legacy Recordings/Music For Nations.
Vocalist/guitarist Matt Tuck commented of this milestone:
“I honestly can’t believe it’s been 20 years since the release of ‘The Poison‘, and what an incredible 20 years it’s been. I feel so proud of what we’ve achieved as a band in the last two decades and it all started with that debut album. ‘The Poison‘ is such an important part of our lives musically and personally and we know the massive impact it had on the metal world on a global level.”
The record has newly been remastered for vinyl for this set and includes the original deluxe version of the album, a “Hand Of Blood” EP compiling bonus material, and the vinyl debut of the band’s 2006 “Live At Brixton” performance. There’s also new artwork, a coffee table book, a four-piece print set, a fold-out poster, an enamel pin badge, a bandana and a replica of an AAA laminate pass included in the vinyl boxset.

That trek will occur as a joint co-headlining run with Trivium, who will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of their own 2005 sophomore album, “Ascendancy“.
