UK post-hardcore/noise rock outfit mclusky‘s return to active duty continues, with the group having now secured a deal with Ipecac Recordings. The group previously hung it up back in 2005, but alternate incarnations of the outfit have been making strides to a full-fledged reunion since 2014.
In a brief statement of sorts issued in conjunction with the news of their signing, the following was offered:
“mclusky was a band between 1999 and 2005 and now they are a band again.
I know, mindblowing. go wonder at the night.
mclusky is recording a new album. it will be released on ipecac in 2025.
mclusky firmly believes that all djs should be French.”
