Ohioan groove metal band Chimaira returned to the stage today, July 19th, playing their first show of 2024. The set was the group’s first time performing live since May of last year, when they celebrated the 20th anniversary of “The Impossibility Of Reason“. Five of the band’s six ‘classic’ members took part in this latest show, with later drummer Austin D’Amond once again behind the kit in place of Andols Herrick.
Today’s show took place at the annual ‘Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival‘ in Mansfield, OH and is one of two appearances the band have booked for the year, the other being a stint on this year’s edition of Lamb Of God‘s annual ‘Headbangers Boat‘ cruise.
