The Osbourne family have found themselves in a feud with pop star Britney Spears. The most prominent members of the Osbourne clan mentioned Spears while answering questions from their audience on the latest episode of ‘The Osbournes‘ podcast. Responding to a question that asked whether or not Kelly Osborne would ever partake in posting TikTok dance videos, Kelly responded, “I don’t know how to do TikTok dances. I don’t know where anybody would ever think that I would.”
Her mother Sharon replied, “It seems to me that TikTok when it first started, were people doing silly dances, but now it’s developed into so much more.”
Jack Osbourne chimed in, offering, “You’re just saying that because you’re the biggest TikTok junkie, and you’re just trying to be, like, ‘But there’s more to it than that.” Sharon replied, “there is”, which is where Ozzy himself interjected. They heavy metal legend stated, “I’m fed up of seeing poor old Britney Spears on YouTube.”
Sharon clarified that it was her dancing that Ozzy was referring to, with Ozzy adding, “Every fucking day. It’s sad, very, very sad.” Jack chimed in with, “Save Britney“, leading Kelly to reply, “I know, I feel so sorry for her.”
Sharon added, “Poor little thing.” Jack concluded with, “Very sad indeed”, with Sharon finishing up the topic with “It’s heartbreaking.”
It is unclear if the Osbourne‘s were referencing Spears‘ past struggles with conservatorship, or the continued concerns over her mental health that have arisen again this year. Amid a post on her Instagram shared yesterday, July 17th, Spears fired back at her haters, which included a barb directed towards the Osbourne‘s.
While railing against ageism and the detractors of her social media content, Spears stated, “…tell the Osbourne family who is the most boring family known to mankind to kindly fuck off !!!”
