Finnish symphonic deathcore group Assemble The Chariots have just released a music video for their song “Departure“. That clip barely precedes the arrival of the band’s new concept album, “Unyielding Night“, due out tomorrow, July 19th on Seek & Strike. The group offered:
“Our newest single, ‘Departure,’ is where things get fucking real, story-wise. This is the end of this story, but the beginning of a grand one. This means that since the beginning it was clear that this was going to be the opening track for the album, and as such, will be the introduction to the main theme/melody found throughout the album, in almost every song.
To contrast this, it was decided that the lyrics of the song would tell the end of the album, and all the other songs in between it. Chronologically, ‘Departure‘ is what happens basically right after the battle that our previous single, ‘Galactic Order,’ is about. This means that while the album is absolutely crafted to be musically cohesive, but story-wise there are a few time warps.”
