Two elder statesmen of the heavy metal scene took in Turnstile‘s set during yesterday’s (June 28th) ‘Tons Of Rock‘ festival in Oslo, Norway. Both Metallica vocalist/guitarist James Hetfield and Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford were filmed enjoying the melodic hardcore band’s set from the side of the stage. That footage has since been shared online by Turnstile.
Turnstile received the badge of approval from Metallica several years back, having been photographed together. There were also rumors of Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich sneaking in to catch one of Turnstile‘s sets incognito. All three of the aforementioned artists were among the performers thus far at this year’s ‘Tons Of Rock‘ festival. You can catch that footage for a limited time via Turnstile‘s Instagram stories.
