Earlier this month, Eddie Sutton (aka Eddie Leeway) passed away following a prolonged battle with lung cancer. As the vocalist for influential NY crossover outfit Leeway, Eddie and his bandmates left a considerable mark on the NYHC scene. Now his family and peers will be rallying behind his legacy for an upcoming benefit show.
That event will take place June 23rd at Lucky 13 in Brooklyn, NY, with all proceeds to go towards Eddie‘s family, who will be in attendance. Dubbed ‘For The Love Of Eddie Leeway‘, the set will feature performances from Killing Time, Token Entry, Fire Is Murder, The Ice Cold Killers and more, along with a Leeway tribute set. Details for the latter remain pending.
