Knocked Loose & Poppy

Knocked Loose & Poppy Debut “Suffocate” Music Video

Rising metallic hardcore stars Knocked Loose have shared their new single “Suffocate“. That song finds the band venturing out of their comfort zone, enlisting the aid of Poppy as a guest performer. Knocked Loose guitarist Isaac Hale said of that collaboration:

“It was so fun because her voice allowed us to expand our palette and do some weird, off-the-wall things that we maybe wouldn’t do in another song. We felt that because we had Poppy’s voice involved, it allowed us to kind of push the boundaries of what we thought was feasible.”

Poppy initiated the idea of teaming up and stated of her successful pitch, “I am a huge fan of Knocked Loose and honored to be on this one.” A music video was lensed for this track with director Eric Richter (Evanescence, Motionless In White) and has premiered online below.

This song appears as track three on Knocked Loose‘s forthcoming new album “You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To“, which is due out May 10th on Pure Noise Records. Look for the band out supporting that record at the following shows:
