Thanks to the solar eclipse earlier this month, Soundgarden‘s runaway 1994 hit “Black Hole Sun” enjoyed a resurgence on the charts. That track managed to notch the band their first #1 on Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs. That enduring single was originally released as the third single from the band’s 6x multi-platinum album “Superunknown” and remains the band’s most popular song to date.
