Tommy Vext Releases “Gods & Monsters” Music Video & Remix With Ex-Thy Art Is Murder Vocalist CJ McMahon

Former Bad Wolves vocalist Tommy Vext has released a music video for his track “Gods & Monsters“. That track appeared on Vext‘s latest album “A.N.T.A.R.T.I.C.A.“, which saw a release last November. A deluxe version of that album is being readied for a future release.

Last month saw the release of an alternate version of “Gods & Monsters“, which finds Vext joined by ex-Thy Art Is Murder frontman CJ McMahon. Both artists infamously ran into problems over their controversial viewpoints and opinions over the years, with Vext‘s exit from Bad Wolves clouded by dueling lawsuits with his past label and allegations.

Meanwhile, McMahon was fired from Thy Art Is Murder, in part due to comments perceived to be transphobic. His now former bandmates also made mention of various other behind the scenes incidents that apparently contributed to their decision to part ways with him last year. McMahon would later issue this statement to explain the intention behind his divisive comments.

In addition to recent collaborations with Spencer Sotelo of Periphery, Jared Dines of Scion, etc. and Angel Vivaldi, Vext has been mapping out some UK shows for the fall and is also planning to film an acoustic show in London, England.
