Having embarked upon an Australian/New Zealand tour last year celebrating the original ‘demo album’ “Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat.” from multi-platinum masked metal outfit Slipknot, the band’s original vocalist Anders Colsefni has now re-recorded the album.
This new digital re-release of it was crafted with the assistance of Kiwi nü-metal collective Kaosis as his backing band. The latter outfit also took part in the aforementioned trek. A digital release date of this updated take on the record has been scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, March 15th.
Anders commented:
“This record is dedicated to Joey and Paul, my eternal brothers. This project completes their legacy for the original Crowz. This important part of their heritage can now be heard by the Maggot generation of the ‘Knot family. I miss them both deeply every day and I hope that this tribute to them honors their memory and our ever-lasting friendship. Long live the ‘Knot.”
