Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Teases New Mask For The Band’s 25th Anniversary Touring


New masks are in the works for Slipknot‘s upcoming 25th anniversary cycle for their 2x 1999 self-titled debut album. Earlier today (March 01st) the band’s vocalist Corey Taylor shared the below shot of what appears to be himself in the process of getting a face mold for his next fit.

There’s no word yet if the masks will carry a throwback to the group’s original self-titled era days. However, given the discomfort many of the band expressed about their masks at the time and the wear and tear that touring cycle took on them, one shouldn’t expect them to once again don the actual originals for the run.

The 25th anniversary cycle emerges as the band are widely thought to have recruited ex-Sepultura drummer Eloy Casagrande as the latest musician to sit behind the drum kit for them. Current planned dates for their 25th anniversary touring this year include:
