Members Of The Dillinger Escape Plan, Protest The Hero, Etc. Appear On Plutocracy Planet’s Upcoming Debut Album


A wealth of guest talent are involved wit the upcoming debut album from Plutocracy Planet. Described as a ‘an experimental sociopolitical super-collective’, that post-hardcore based venture is headed up by Scott Morrow. The ambitious project will unveil its self-titled debut album on July 12th.

This Very Severity” leads the charge for the record, with a video for it available below. That song finds Bob Nanna (Braid, Hey Mercedes, etc.) Jason Schimmel (Red Fiction, Secret Chiefs 3, etc.) and Jonathan Hischke (The Sounds Of Animals Fighting, Hella, etc.) guesting.

Morrow commented of the project, which was born amid the pandemic era:

“It’s unbelievable to me that I get to work with the people on this album. I’ve been a fan—in many cases a super fan—of many of them for 20 to 25 years. It’s a mind-blowing honor that they said yes, and I still don’t really know how the hell I convinced them.”
