An official documentary on the perpetually divisive Canadian diamond-certified hard rock outfit Nickelback will debut in theaters on March 27th & 30th. Leigh Brooks directed that feature, which has been titled ‘Hate To Love: Nickelback‘.
The 90-minute doc includes interviews with the likes of actor Ryan Reynolds, Billy Corgan (The Smashing Pumpkins, etc.) and more, and will examine the band’s lengthy career, while also shining a light on the seemingly perpetual derision the group have been faced with online.
The band commented:
“We are very excited to finally bring this film to theatres this spring. It’s been a long road to get this project across the finish line and we must thank Ben Jones and Leigh Brooks for all of their hard work. We hope everyone enjoys our story, fans, friends or otherwise.”
