Falling In Reverse’s Ronnie Radke Recently Took A ‘Hitman’ Swipe At As I Lay Dying’s Tim Lambesis On Social Media

As you’d expect by now, Falling In Reverse vocalist Ronnie Radke remains a divisive personality on social media. Having gone out of his way to financially help a number of his fans who asked him for items or assistance on X over the past few weeks, Radke has more recently been back to sparring with people on social media regarding war, homophobia, gender identity, politics and more.

Amid his various conversations, Radke was asked over the weekend about his thoughts on the music of San Diego, CA metalcore outfit As I Lay Dying. While the user who asked the question has since made their post private, Radke‘s reply remains visible. Whether an attempt at being humorous or not, Radke pulled no punches responding to the individual, stating:

“They got songs I would hire a hitman to kill my wife to”

If you’re somehow unaware, As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis infamously attempted to hire a hitman to have his wife at the time murdered back in 2013. Authorities caught wind of the plot, leading to Lambesis unwittingly attempting to hire an undercover detective posing as a hitman to do the hit.

As a result of the sting, Lambesis went on to plead guilty to a charge of solicitation of another to commit murder and was sentenced to six years in prison. He served close to two years of that term before being paroled in late 2016.

Lambesis, who has remarried twice since the incident, has described that timeframe as “the dark period” of his life. In the years following his incarceration, he became a certified addiction treatment counselor and social worker outside of relaunching As I Lay Dying.

Ronnie Radke himself has ran afoul of the law on several occasions as well, having served time after violating his probation on a charge of battery with substantial bodily harm charge. That incident in question left an 18-year-old individual shot dead following a violent altercation among a number of individuals. However, Radke was found to have not been the one who pulled the trigger.

In the years that followed his release, Radke also faced a since dropped domestic battery charge and an allegation of sexual assault. In light of a subsequent police investigation turning up insufficient evidence for the latter allegation, Radke went on to successfully sue his accuser for defamation.
