Kaonashi Debut “We Got One” Music Video

Kaonashi‘s new 5-song EP “The 3 Faces Of Beauty: A Violent Misinterpretation Of Morgan Montgomery” made its way out into the world today, January 26th. An extension of the band’s ‘Lemon House High’ saga, this effort is the first in a trilogy of EPs expected to flesh out the perspectives of key main characters from that conceptual framework.

A music video for “We Got One” has surfaced online to complement this new release. Vocalist Peter Rono commented:

“Topics such as societal pressure, race, homophobia and dysfunctional family are all covered in this new release. I want the listeners to feel the sadness and anger of this character so they have a different perspective on young Black people.”

In addition to that, the band have officially welcomed bassist Ryne Jones as a permanent member. They commented:

“Entering this new era of Kaonashi, we are thrilled to announce our new full time bassist, Ryne Jones. Ryne has been touring with us over the last 6 months and we’re excited to have him on as a permanent member.”
