MTVoid, the side project of Tool bassist Justin Chancellor and Sweet Noise/Serce vocalist Peter Mohamed, have issued a NSFW AI-generated video for their track “Drop-Out” done in partnership with Deforum Studio. That song appeared on the band’s sophomore album “Matter’s Knot, Pt. 1“, which made its way out into the world on November 10th.
Isabel Munoz-Newsome (Pumarosa) provides guest vocals on the track, which a press release describes as:
”Drop-Out‘ features Isabel Munoz-Newsome on guest vocals, and she is also the lyricist for the track. The lyrics, meticulously crafted to harmonize with MTVoid‘s aesthetics, contribute to the non-linear, glitch-filled sonic landscape that defines MTVoid‘s unique sound. Drawing inspiration from the likes of William Burroughs and David Bowie, MTVoid seamlessly blends processed elements with live instruments.’
