(hed)p.e. Say They Took A Stand Against “Cancel Culture Pussies” With Their New Album “DETOX”

G-punk pioneers (hed)p.e. were no stranger to raunchy lyrics and divisive conspiracy theories amid their early days as part of the then burgeoning nü-metal scene. While age and societal pressures may have dampened that vision slightly over the years, the group have set out recapture some of that youthful influence, while also taking a stand against political correctness it would seem.

A mission statement for their impending new album “DETOX” was shared online recently by the band, it reads as follows:

“Everyone seems so scared and too afraid to do what they really want. When did people stop having fun with music? With this album we just said fuck it and had fun with it and embraced our nu metal roots.

We brought back the old-school dirty sex raps and big heavy riffs. Fuck all the cancel culture pussies

We are having some fun on this one.”

DETOX” will be out this Friday, December 15th. The band have the following touring booked around it for the immediate future.
