Racetraitor Debut New Track “Pastoral Monolith” Featuring Refused’s Dennis Lyxzén

Pastoral Monolith” is the latest single to emerge from activist hardcore punk outfit Racetraitor. That song finds the Chicago outfit joined by vocalist Dennis Lyxzén of Refused, etc. fame.

Lyxzén stated of the lyrical inspiration for the track:

“The song is about the lasting and devastating impacts of British colonialism in Nigeria. In the past few weeks, we have seen Israel’s attacks on Gaza which also have their historical roots in British colonialism.”

Lyxzén is one of a number of guests who have contributed to Racetraitor‘s forthcoming new album “Creation And The Timeless Order Of Things“, which is due out November 17th on Good Fight Music.

Racetraitor will ring in the release of that opus with a December 09th show at ‘Sweat Fest‘ in Grand Rapids, MI.
