Reflections Premiere New Single “Scapegoat”

Progressive metalcore outfit Reflections have newly dropped a standalone single titled “Scapegoat“. The group said of the song:

“We are proud to share, Scapegoat.

One of our most progressive pieces to date, with some of our most meticulous, unorthodox and visceral writing.

Currently a standalone, Scapegoat is not a part of an EP or album. It is our first song to share of the sort.

Not only are we proud of this song, but we are exceptionally happy with its production. For that we would like to take a moment and thank Simone Pietroforte for his amazing work capturing the bands sound. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with.

We couldn’t be more thrilled to share with you the first glimpse into the next evolution of our sound.”

Outside of that, the band have also recently begun releasing tracks from a companion piece to their 2013 sophomore album, “Exi(s)t“. That EP will feature re-recorded songs, as well as previously unreleased material originally written during the sessions for that outing. A redux version of the “Exi(s)t” track “Vain Words From Empty Minds” is the first to launch from that, with additional songs expected to arrive across the coming months.
