Thrice Cancel Two Immediate “The Artist In The Ambulance” 20th Anniversary Shows

Thrice have been forced to cancel a pair of shows of their ongoing “The Artist In The Ambulance” 20th anniversary tour. Tonight’s (October 13th) planned show in Norfolk, VA and tomorrow’s set in Charlotte, NC have both been scrapped as vocalist/guitarist Dustin Kensrue has lost his voice.

A statement issued earlier today reads as follows:

“At last night’s show in New Jersey Dustin completely lost his voice. While we were able to make it through with the help of the crowd, it’s with a heavy heart now that we’ll be forced to cancel our upcoming shows in Norfolk tonight and Charlotte tomorrow.

We are extremely disappointed about this and hope to make it back to these cities as soon as possible. Refunds will be available at point of purchase.”

The tour, which features ’68, will resume as follows:

10/15 Nashville, TN – Marathon Music Works
10/17 Houston, TX – House Of Blues
10/18 Fort Worth, TX – Tannahill’s Tavern & Music Hall
10/20 Tucson, AZ – The Rialto Theatre
