Pantera Drop Off 2023 ‘Aftershock’ Festival, Stone Temple Pilots Added


Groove metal legends have dropped off of next month’s ‘Aftershock‘ festival in Sacramento, CA. The Texan outfit had been slated to perform on Thursday, October 05th, and will now be replaced by Stone Temple Pilots—though not in the same slot. Avenged Sevenfold, Incubus and The Cult will headline the aforementioned date of the fest, which will be held at Discovery Park From October 05th to 08th. Additionally, Imperial Tide have been added to the Saturday, October 07th date.

A statement issued by Pantera today, September 21st regarding their cancelation reads as follows:

“Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will be unable to perform at this years edition of Aftershock next month.

This event is monumental and it pains us to have to miss it. We will however be back for Aftershock 2024!

A sincere thank you to Danny Wimmer Presents as well as all the fans around the globe who’ve supported the 2023 Pantera celebration.

We will see you all at Louder Than Life this weekend and Aftershock next year!
