If you’ve missed the advance announcements, Otep‘s newly released ninth album “The God Slayer” is comprised of both covers and new material. In addition to tackling songs by Eminem, Billie Eilish and more, the nü-metal veteran also took on Slipknot‘s “Purity” from the band’s 2x multi-platinum self-titled debut.
Also appearing on “The God Slayer” is a cover of Nirvana‘s “Territorial Pissings“, which appeared on the grunge legends’ 1991 diamond-certified sophomore album “Nevermind“. Both of those renditions can be streamed below:
