Brutus Share Video For New Track “Love Won’t Hide The Ugliness”, Announce Spring North American Tour

Brutus have given an online premiere to a Maximiliaan Dierickx-directed music video for their ‘new’ track “Love Won’t Hide The Ugliness“. The song itself came to be as a b-side during the recording sessions for the Belgian post-metal trio’s latest studio album, 2022’s “Unison Life“.

A 7” pressing of that song will be included as a bonus with a deluxe one year anniversary edition of “Unison Life“, which will be out on October 27th. Pre-orders for that can be obtained via

Vocalist/drummer Stefanie Mannaerts said of this newly shared track:

“We are very happy we can release this now, after such a crazy year on the road. ‘Love Won’t Hide The Ugliness‘ has always been one of my favorite songs when we were writing the album. The song is about how love can cloud judgment and make it difficult to remain impartial. It can cause people to blindly follow others and lose their own sense of beauty. In the worst case, it can lead to self-destruction and damage relationships.”
