Exhumed Release New EP “Beyond The Dead”

Gore-loving deathgrinders Exhumed digitally released a new EP titled “Beyond The Dead” today, August 28th, through Relapse Records. That outing features four new songs and four live performances.

Vocalist/guitarist Matt Harvey had the following to say of this new offering:

“As we head into the nether regions of the To the Dead-touring-cycle, we wanted to remind folks that the Exhumed riff factory is still a going concern and we’re still more than capable (culpable?) of churning out a mausoleum’s worth of wretched requiems and decrepit dirges.

These songs are a nice capstone to the last couple years, which started with our Worming EP and continued with our last record, To the Dead. I think we’ve gelled better than ever as a band are firing on all cylinders – and that these releases of “extra tracks” feature stuff that’s just as strong as the tunes on the records and we can’t wait to rot your brains and aggravate your neighbors with this latest discharge of deafening discord!”

Beyond The Dead” track listing:

01 – “Lysergicide
02 – “Septic Five
03 – “Rapid Unplanned Disassembly
04 – “Sick at Heart
05 – “Dysmorphic” (Live)
06 – “Dead End” (Live)
07 – “Slaughter Maniac” (Live)
08 – “In My Human Slaughterhouse” (Live)

The EP coincides with the impending launch of the band’s late summer tour with Sepultura alumni Max and Iggor Cavalera. The aforementioned brotherly duo will be out performing material from Sepultura‘s “Bestial Devastation” and “Morbid Visions” on that trek, having re-recorded both efforts for re-releases earlier this summer. Incite will open that bill.
